Drive up highway 52 in Fancy Gap and you’ll see this beauty on the side of the road. Carroll County Historical Society gives tours and they also run fundraisers and one is a play of the court house shooting.. This picture was taken when they were getting ready to raise the building to put a foundation under it.

The witches hat has a slate roof.
Some of the windows were just large approx. 36” squares of 1/4” glass with one inch bevels. Not this one.
