Raven number 83 in our Raven series, every one is different but they all are in the same Unkindness. ( Unkindness of Ravens is a group of Ravens) Ravens are beautiful, fun, mysterious birds. Some cultures see them as creators, tricksters, messengers, good omens or bad omens. We see them as mysterious, intelligent, tricky, curious and fun.

Black iridescent glass, swirled black glass, blown purple , cobalt, and aqua blown glass wings.They also have otheoceras fossils, horse shoe nails and vintage silver plate feathers. Kiln carved glass,David’s lamp work glass galaxy cabochons, a chunk of casting glass, a blue glass moon jewel, amethyst crystal cluster, hand sculpted claws, a huge Othoceras fossil, an amethyst crystal tower, a vintage drawer pull of wood and metal. The tail is glass rods, vintage auger bits and type writer keys.

Raven #83 is mounted on a vintage rotary hoe from a large piece of farm equipment and a steel plate with a16”Lx10’D footprint. This sculpture is 48”Tx27”W. The Raven comes off the stand for shipping safely and will be packed in a plywood crate.
